One-way protection

First, I want to thank 3 Sweden for this lesson. Due to their current "free summer music" campain I did not loose the 10 Euros or so worth of content I am discussing here

A couple of days ago I upgraded my A1000 with new firmware (see that post). Afterwards I restored my backup and most things seemed OK.

But now, on the train to my father's summer house, I wanted to play Schnappi die kleine krokodil for a kid sitting next to me. Guess what, all my downloaded stuff is gone.

Naturally a backup means making copies, and that present a dilemma for copy-protected stuff.

So, whatever you download (and pay for) will be gone with your phone if you loose or upgrade it.

A way around it is to zip the files in the phone with stacker, then you can move the files any place you want, to the transflash card for example.
